Elena Piccioni (Rome, 2001) is an emerging art historian and curator, active in the fields of art-historical research, curatorship and cultural management.
After graduating from classical high school, in 2024 she graduated in Historical-Artistic Studies at La Sapienza University in Rome, with a thesis dedicated to the critical fortune of Pierre Bonnard, delving into the evolution of historical and critical interest in the artist over time. At the same time, she expanded her education with a Certificate Program in Art Management at the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability, acquiring expertise in the field of cultural management, artistic valorization and sustainability strategies applied to art.
Her professional experience develops through collaborations with artists and galleries, where she works as an assistant and art advisor, supporting the design and implementation of exhibitions, managing the relationship with collectors and institutions, and taking care of aspects related to communication and organizational coordination.
Since 2024, she has been actively involved in Rome Art Week (RAW), an event dedicated to contemporary art in the Capital. Within the event she is responsible for the selection of participating structures and the coordination of events related to official initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of exhibition spaces and emerging artists.
Her interest focuses on curating and art criticism, with particular attention to the dynamics of contemporary fruition, mediation between artists and audiences, and exhibition strategies capable of enhancing the dialogue between past and present.
