Kou Gallery officially opens its doors to the public on March 9 at 5:30 PM. Visitors will find works by several artists who took part in solo exhibitions at the historic Spazio Menexa, marking the closure of a cycle that began in 2012.
Kou Gallery is an interdisciplinary space designed as a place for dialogue and the sharing of new ideas, fostering integration and cross-pollination to promote contemporary art in the capital.
Kou Gallery aims to become a significant meeting point for artists, a space to broaden horizons and contribute to a meaningful transformation of the Roman and international art scene, helping Rome reaffirm its role in the Italian art world.
Divided into two rooms, the gallery offers a structurally neutral environment capable of highlighting any type of artwork, from painting to video art, sculpture, and performance. It will periodically host talks and lectures with artists, curators, and critics. Kou Gallery is a space that not only changes but evolves — and as it evolves, so do the artists it hosts. It is a place where art dares to transcend the boundaries that have long defined the contemporary.
Kou Gallery is managed and supported by the Kou Association, whose mission is to promote and disseminate culture and art both nationally and internationally.
