Giovanni Argan

Giovanni Argan (1991) is an art historian (PhD) and curator.

He trained in Rome at La Sapienza University, where he obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in art history. Subsequently, he obtained a PhD from Ca' Foscari University in Venice, discussing a thesis on Soviet painting of the Chruščëvi era. Since 2015, he has combined his academic activity with curatorial work, organising exhibitions of Italian, Russian and Chinese contemporary art. Currently, he has to his credit the realisation of more than a dozen exhibitions, held in Rome, Florence and Venice.
