Born in Zurich in 1975 and raised between Switzerland and Italy, he plays with the complicated mechanisms and paradoxes of vision. He studied at The Florence Academy of Art, where painting, his first great passion, was complemented by installations and videos. The landscape – physical, mental and emotional – cinema, society, his own personal and family history become elements in his hands to be modified in order to reinterpret reality.
