At fifteen, he chose the Coca-Cola can as a subject, collecting various versions, sometimes deforming its shape or placing it in bold juxtaposed contexts. After military service, he attended the Visual Communication Course at the European Design Institute in Rome, while simultaneously painting portraits on white cardboard using mixed techniques, strongly influenced by Patrick Nagel’s graphics and the covers of THE FACE and Andy Warhol’s INTERVIEW magazine. In the 2000s, he began experimenting with inserting colored can pieces as fillings for uniform areas on his paintings, later creating computer-designed mosaics made from aluminum tiles recycled from cans. He has exhibited in various group and solo shows in Rome, Florence, Bologna, and Venice.
