Within the framework of [PYROS, πυρο] – Written in Fire, Kou Gallery and Kickit present a live painting session by Patrick Eduardo, an event that brings to the surface the most immediate and dynamic side of his artistic process.

If the exhibition traces a journey from darkness to explosive colour—through works where past and present collide, where gold dissolves into fluorescent pigments, and where the fire becomes both symbol and engine of transformation—the live painting allows viewers to witness this evolution in real time.

Watching Eduardo paint means entering the moment in which forms emerge, shift, and contradict themselves. It is the space where the black background yields to vivid tones, where “X” marks and alchemical symbols appear and dissolve, where the hand adjusts, burns, reconsiders, and starts again. What in the finished works is memory, here becomes action.

The live session highlights the boundary—always present in Eduardo’s practice—between performance and street art: the immediacy of the street, the instinctive gesture, the energy that moves freely across the surface, combined with the compositional awareness that defines his recent research.

Rather than acting as a thirteenth artwork of Pyros, the live painting becomes a space of openness, where the narrative of the exhibition returns to its origin: the unstable, incandescent moment in which images are not yet defined but already hold everything they will become. An intimate encounter with an art that takes shape through fire, colour, and movement.
