Kou Gallery expands its horizons by participating for the first time in The Others, Italy’s leading fair dedicated to emerging national and international art

The Others is a journey, a revolutionary project born ten years ago with the goal of capturing the language of new generations—ever-changing and therefore in need of a responsive, independent, and freedom-filled event.

The Others is oxygen, the short-circuit of a self-referential art system unaware of the value of small emerging realities.

The Others gathers the global community of creatives—those who dare and express themselves through innovative exhibition projects, children of today and tomorrow.

The Others is a choice, a rebellious and perhaps slightly stubborn alternative, yet constructive, provocative, and eccentric, nourished by hope, determination, and energy.

An essential element of Turin’s Contemporary Art Week, The Others strengthens its nature as an exhibition platform aimed at galleries, artist-run and project spaces, collectives of artists and curators, and independent venues.

The Others is Italy’s main fair dedicated to emerging national and international art, created to promote new creative energies through a unique exhibition system designed to rediscover and reactivate abandoned places within the urban fabric of Turin. It thus combines theory and pragmatic action, market and cultural innovation. A pioneering model that has abandoned the schemes and barriers typical of traditional fairs to foster a more direct and immediate dialogue between artistic proposals and the various audiences that follow the Italian and international art scene.
