Christina Underhill Danielli has been working as a restorer since 1996. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Barnard College (Columbia University) in 1986, where she also worked as Assistant Curator at the Columbia University Art Gallery (Joe and Emily Lowe Foundation Curatorial Internship). In 1989 she graduated in Humanities with a focus on Art History from La Sapienza University of Rome. Following some work experiences in art galleries in Rome, she decided to pursue the profession of restorer by attending a three-year course run by the Lazio Region and later specializing in the restoration of mural paintings with the ICCROM course (Conservation of Mural Paintings) in 1998.

Despite her specialization, her curiosity for artistic techniques and the different materials that make up works of art led her to gain various experiences abroad on very diverse restoration projects. Since 2000 she has worked on mural paintings on several sites in Italy, England, and France. Between 2000 and 2001 she gained work experience at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, where she worked on the restoration of some large-scale contemporary artworks. During those same years, she became passionate about archaeological restoration following an experience in Petra, Jordan, later collaborating as a consultant and restorer on various international projects. In recent years, she has worked as an external collaborator for the Archaeological Superintendency of Rome.

An important part of her profession is sharing her experiences and teaching students Art History and restoration techniques, an activity she has been engaged in since 1995, teaching at several American universities in Italy (American University of Rome, University of New Hampshire in Italy, IES Abroad Italy) and working as a tutor on archaeological excavations with the University of Helsinki and ACOR (American Center for Oriental Research) in Jordan.
