Alice Colacione was born in Rome on March 2, 1996. In 2019, she was a finalist in the National Arts Prize at the Albertina Academy in Turin. The same year, she served as mediator for Yoko Ono’s work "Add Color (Refugee Boat)" during the event "Della Materia Spirituale dell'Arte" at MAXXI in Rome. In 2020, she participated in the Festival del Tempo in Sermoneta and the group exhibition "We As Nature" during Rome Art Week at Hotel Ripa in Rome, both curated by Roberta Melasecca. In May 2021, she exhibited in Ravenna, finalist for the Ilaria Ciardi Award at Galleria Michele Tosi. In June 2021, she won first prize in the Painting category of the "EcoLogicArt" competition promoted by Galleria La Nica in Rome; the work was exhibited in Arezzo and later at La Nica's gallery. During the second edition of the Festival del Tempo in Sermoneta in 2021, she participated as a juror. In September 2022, she joined the group exhibition “Coesione: Acqua e vita” at Acquario Romano - Casa dell’architettura and in October at the Egyptian Embassy in Rome. In Bologna, she took part in the collective project “E Luce Fu. La Materia Illuminata” promoted by “Avanguardie Verdi,” inaugurated in September at Spazio 212. In October 2022, she held the two-person show “Io Scorro” at Galleria Borghini in Rome. She is co-founder of the independent collective Rione Placido, composed of six artists in the Pigneto district of Rome, which participated in Rome Art Week 2023 with the project “Inarrestabili Latitudini dell’Antropocene” curated by Greta Alberta Tirloni.
