Giovanni Argan (1991) is an art historian (PhD) and curator.
He studied in Rome at La Sapienza University, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in art history. He later obtained a PhD at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, defending a dissertation on Soviet painting from the Khrushchev era. Since 2015, alongside his academic work, he has also developed curatorial projects, organizing exhibitions of contemporary Italian, Russian, and Chinese art. To date, he has curated more than a dozen exhibitions held in Rome, Florence, and Venice.
