Born in Formia on August 21, 1966. He lives in Rome and Turin, where he teaches Decoration and Multimedia Installations at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts. He is a multifaceted artist: a musician, an actor, a visual artist. He creates videos, installations, performances. In recent years, his artistic research has focused mainly on producing videos, photographic images, and what he calls blitz. Seen as halfway between urban art and performance, the artist carries out actions sometimes by flying over places, sometimes by projecting and fleeing, and other times by arriving in locations with elements of strong disruption and visual impact. Despite working across many fields, Iginio de Luca’s work maintains a strong unity. The artist has held several solo and group exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad.
