Mario Nalli was born in Morolo, in the province of Frosinone, in 1960. He lives and works in Rome.
Since childhood, he has frequented artists’ studios and began painting at the same time. He is a self-taught artist guided by conscious hands. His first exhibition was presented at the age of eight, and since then, after many experiments (watercolors, acrylic paints, inks of various kinds), he has chosen oil paint as his expressive medium. He pursues a gestural painting style, skillfully shaping color to lead the viewer into a dimension of abstract figuration.
He has been an assistant to various artists, including Piero Pizzi Cannella. He exhibited in group shows in 1987 in Loreto, in 1992 at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, and since 1993 has exhibited continuously at the Galleria l’Attico of Fabio Sargentini with both solo and group exhibitions.
