He is a conceptual artist working with music and visual arts, exploring physics, environment, and big data through multimedia works and concerts.
Born in Treviso in 1971 and graduated in painting from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts, he has exhibited in international solo and group shows, including the Museo Archeologico del Correr in Venice, three editions of the Italy-China Biennale in Beijing and Turin, the Curitiba Biennale (Brazil), and two consecutive Venice Biennales.
Under the musical alias “Ottodix,” he has released seven concept albums, a compilation, and a biography, considered a cult project in Italian electronic wave music.
In 2016/17 he presented the concept album “Micromega” in Beijing and Berlin, exploring cosmic scales of matter, and the visionary website www.micromegaproject.com, regarded as a web installation blending an illustrated "hyper album" and an encyclopedia of matter, which became a debated case in the Chinese intellectual community and a significant NFT series by 2022.
In 2020 he released “Entanglement,” an album on global-scale correlations, followed in 2021/22 by the related “ENT” project, continuously expanding with twin light installations worldwide.
Invited to the Venice Architecture Biennale 2021 - Italian Pavilion, CNR ISMAR Venice, Venice Art Biennale 2022 - Cameroon Pavilion, and the University of Auckland, the project continues collaborating with research institutes, universities, and museums, completing six continental twin installations by 2023.
Also in 2022, he held the solo exhibition "MareMoto 4.0" at the Galata Museo del Mare in Genoa, with works in dialogue with CNR ISMAR data collected by marine robots, performing at the opening atop the submarine "Nazario Sauro".
With the album "Entanglement," he is still touring with a show combining music, science, geohistory, and outreach, and in 2023 is preparing the release of the new concept album "ARCA".
