Giulia Di Pasquale (Rome, 1999) is a visual artist specializing in painting and a teacher of artistic disciplines.
In 2024, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Painting from the Rome University of Fine Arts (RUFA), completing the program in English and deepening her knowledge in disciplines such as painting, iconography, sculpture, performance, engraving techniques, photography, psychology of art, and art management. In the same year, she obtained the teaching qualification for the A009 competition class from the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila.
She is currently an academic lecturer for winter and autumn short courses and an Academic Tutor at RUFA, where she also supports students with specific needs. Additionally, she is a teacher of painting, graphic, and scenographic disciplines at the private high school Spazio Studi Flaminio in Rome. Previously, she collaborated as an assistant to painting professors Fabrizio Dell’Arno and Guido D’Angelo in academic courses.
Alongside her teaching career, she continues her artistic practice, exhibiting her works in numerous group and solo exhibitions. She has participated in exhibitions at institutions and venues such as Galleria Passamonti (Rome), Palazzo Costantino (Palermo), Castello di Rocca Sinibalda (Rieti), and MAS – Magazzino Arti Sceniche (Bologna). She has also received recognition, including being selected as a finalist for the Premio Morlotti - Imbersago 2024 and winning the “Uno sguardo contemporaneo sul Farnese” award (2023).
Her pictorial research explores the relationship between matter and form, emphasizing tensions and fragilities that emerge through processes of sedimentation and deformation. The Figure manifests itself independently of representation, giving life to images rich in expressive strength and visual dynamism.
